About the Park
Seventy-nine acres of woodland, fields, streams, and wetland make up Turtle Creek Park, and the dog park near Furnace Road and Supplee Mill Road is its best-known corner for pet owners around Lewisburg. East Buffalo Township bought the property in 2022 to protect one of the area's last large open parcels, taking over a dog park that had already been operating there. Township plans call for rebuilding and enlarging the run, expanding the parking lot, and adding an accessible crushed-gravel loop trail of about seven-tenths of a mile. The park has stayed open through the planning work. Conditions are more rustic than a city dog park, so check the East Buffalo Township website for project updates and current rules before a first visit.
