The Off-Leash Dog Park at Riverfront Park, opened in May 2005, provides a dedicated area for dogs to run and socialize off-leash along the Kansas River. Developed in response to public demand for more off-leash spaces, it is part of a larger 994-acre park featuring trails, disc golf, and picnic areas.
