About the Park

Magnolia Manor Park is a 21,000 sq. ft off-leash dog area located in Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood, created when the old Magnolia Reservoir was replaced with an underground structure in 1995. The park features a main section covered in wood chips with a paved path, a smaller gated section for older or timid dogs, and spectacular territorial views from one of the neighborhood's highest points.

infoWhat to Know Before You Go

Magnolia Manor Park Off-Leash Area is an off-leash area without full fencing. Make sure your dog has solid recall before letting them loose, and keep an eye on them near any roads or boundaries.

There's a separate area for small dogs, which is perfect if you have a smaller breed that might be intimidated by larger dogs. This is a feature many dog owners specifically look for.

Dogs can enjoy water features here — great for cooling off on hot days. Bring a towel for the car ride home, because your pup will probably get soaked.

Walking trails are available, so you and your dog can enjoy a walk beyond just the off-leash area. Trails are a great option for dogs who enjoy sniffing and exploring at their own pace.

Best of all, Magnolia Manor Park Off-Leash Area is completely free to visit — no membership or daily fees required.

backpackWhat to Bring

Fresh water and a bowl

Even parks with water fountains can have them out of service. Bring your own to be safe.

Poop bags

Most parks provide them, but don't rely on it. Always come prepared to clean up after your dog.

check_circle

A towel

Your dog will likely get wet at the water features. Save your car seats with a quick dry-off.

A reflective collar or light-up leash

If you visit near dusk, visibility gear helps you keep track of your dog and stay safe.
