About the Park

Named in memory of Julie Rockwell, this fully fenced dog park in Toledo gives dogs a secure off-leash area in the coastal hills just inland from Newport on Oregon's central coast. The perimeter fence means dogs can run freely without the risk of bolting off. Use of the park is free. Fencing is the confirmed amenity; the surface and posted hours are not in our records, so check signage on arrival. Coastal weather here tends to be cool and wet, so expect soft footing after rain and dress accordingly. Pack water and waste bags in case none are stocked on-site. For dogs that need room to burn energy in a contained space, the enclosure makes this a practical local stop.
