About the Park

University Park Dog Park is a 4-acre fenced off-leash area in central College Station with separate sections for small and large dogs. It features an agility obstacle course in the large dog area, a pond for swimming, a walkway through the woods, water fountains, benches, waste bags, and a wash station. The park is popular for dogs to run, play, and socialize.

infoWhat to Know Before You Go

Dog Park at University Park is fully fenced, so your dog can run and play off-leash without worry. This makes it a great choice for dogs still working on recall or for owners who want extra peace of mind.

There's a separate area for small dogs, which is perfect if you have a smaller breed that might be intimidated by larger dogs. This is a feature many dog owners specifically look for.

Dogs can enjoy water features here — great for cooling off on hot days. Bring a towel for the car ride home, because your pup will probably get soaked.

The park has agility equipment, which is excellent for high-energy dogs that need both physical and mental stimulation. Even if your dog hasn't tried agility before, most dogs pick it up quickly with a little encouragement.

Best of all, Dog Park at University Park is completely free to visit — no membership or daily fees required.
